What's New?

Some Projects

A Breeze::OS Live 32/64-bit version of our distro, which can be run from a DVD or a USB stick. Breeze::OS Live Edition does not have to be installed to a computer hard drive. You can write it to a USB key; and, use it as a rescue system, or as a permanent utility system, giving you access to the web, and the ability to store your modifications permanently. Download the latest releases from SourceForge. Or, buy from our shop.

A updated httpd server, based on Lighttpd, with added features; such an auth module based on our SALT protocol (Enterprise Only).

A simple audio/music server using GStreamer, Alsa, or BrzSnd as the main driving backend; and, the SSP, DAAP, and SRTP protocols for communication.

Tsert.Com Search©® or BrzDig©® is a stand-alone customizable search engine developed in C++. It indexes contents of Web sites, and local disks or file systems, and allows searching for information using keywords. Tsert.Com Search©® technology is used in the Breeze::OS©® desktop and Tsert.Com Ferret©®. see more details here. See latest version here.

A NAS version of our distro, derived either from NAS4Free or FreeNAS, it has the added features of running a modified security framework based on SMACK or Capsicum; as well as, the DawnNG HTTP server. The SCMP, SSP, DAAP, and SRTP protocols are used for communication.

A compact httpd server, based on darkhttpd, with added features; such as, an SQLite backend, and an auth module based on our SALT protocol (Enterprise Only.) See the open source version on GitHub

A javascript and XML framework, used to capture the concept of clubs, parlors, members, audiences, products, and services; as a means of delivering a functional turn-key commercial website, for small to medium companies (Enterprise Only). Brzclubs uses Dawnhttpd as its HTTP engine, running as a proxy server, to your web server of choice, e.g. NGinx, Lighttpd, or DawnNG.

A templating engine which uses embedded tags, to expand a given document template into a fully notationed version of a document.

The tags are referred to as Tsert.com tags or emtags; and are derived from URIs. They have, therefore, a built-in recursive nature. There are several types of tags, a URI, ACTION, BLOCK, TEXT, TAG, and CUSTOM tag. They all include a conditional structure, based on retrieved key/value pairs. There are several types of ACTION tags, a GET, FRAGMENT, SELECT, SELECT_TAG, RETR, RETR_TAG action tag. There are a set of reserved tags, such as, locale, username, password, country, title, description, date, time, etc..

An init system to replace the old sysV init application. It features a single configuration file, parallel service startup, a control application called brzctl, and the ability to specify rc.d shell scripts, XML document fragments, or simple shell commands to start or stop the service, for service startup and management.

An Simple UEFI boot manager derived from Gummiboot.

Breeze::OS Live-Media Scripts, which were created by modifying Slackware LiveCD scripts, allowing the retrieval of packages from a local or remote mirror. See the newest version on GitHub

A natural language system which allows, verbal, gestual, or typed commands to be issued to a computer system.

The SCMap engine is used to parse the typed text, and transform it into a computerese-based command map. The computerese-based command map is semantic in nature; and, comprises the set of actions, actors, objects, and their attributes which were collected from the semantic content extracted from the user entered data.

The command map is used to generate a set of actions, specific to the target system, in order to perform the specified user command. This command-map based approach can be used to develop a completely generic command-response engine; which can be embedded into any computer system; and, will also be used to develop our natural language based script, t-escript.

The Tsert.Com Integrated Test Environment or Grade©® is a black-box oriented testing enviroment. It helps administer the creation and execution of testsuites, for a variety of software; such as, protocol entities like modems and switches, and other communication hardware. It also helps test database schemas by providing an automated way of generating database test data, see more details Grade Life-Cycle.
